have you ever made your boyfriend stop doing stuff??

i got my bf to quit smoking...he use to be like an alcoholic and i told him he shouldn't drink because he acts really stupid and gets in fights and he barely drinks now.

i think people can change if they have the right help...

If i had a problem or my bf didn't like something about me i hope he would tell me and try to help me change because i love my bf and would do anything for him.

my boyfriend drinks still but not as much and i'm content with that cause now he really doesn't go out to parties where he will start fights or get hit on by girls.. now he drinks at his house or at his friends house and i hope his friend wouldn't let him do anything stupid

When my bf told me he was quiting i told him i was happy that he was and everyday he was like i haven't had a cig. i was like thats good i'm proud of u

No, becouse he was doing that before I met him, and I was aware of what he did, and I accepted that as part of him.

Good for you! You should be proud! I tried to make my ex stop smoking the green stuff. He started 2yrs. after we started dating. A yr later I walked but not just because of that. Now I'm with a guy for a yr now who doesn't drink or smoke! I've learn to accept people the way they are. To only give advice.

I got my ex bf to move out of the four seasons hotel where he used to live and moved into an apartment. I thought a home can provide a stable emotional environment. I also made him to get therapy, I thought that will relieve his fear of intimacy. He stopped therapy after a few sessions. His emotional issues finally ended our relationship. Of course once I broke up with him, he moved right back to the hotel. People don't change.

Yes. My ex-husband still gets influenced by the constructive criticism I give him. I have really changed him for the better. We are friends now, and he's a decent father to our kids. If it weren't for the fact that he has a bit of a temper and I find him about as attractive as a tree sloth, I would even reconsider being with him.

He's better than my last bf, who turned me on, rocked my world, took me on incredible adventures, but was insane, abusive, misogynistic (male chauvinist pig), and never listened to a word I said. Infuriating. Sounds like yours is a keeper (possibly...give it time, though!).

my bf stopped doing blowing because of me. i never even asked him too,... i don't even think i ever gave him my opinion of it before he told me,... but he quited all together, just like that!!

i never asked him too, but i'm glad he did it since it's really, really bad for your brains and stuff,... i'm glad he quit and i told him too, even though i would not demand it of him! i'm very proud of him!!! :)

what i do is tell him how his bad behaviors make me feel. he better change on his own! after that, he should be able to know that i want him to stop. if he doesnt, its goin down! lol. umm but yea drinking excessively is my big thing.
